About Evan
A singer, actor, and dancer born in Ontario and raised in Colorado, Evan found his love for theatre at a young age. He appeared in his first professional production at the age of nine as Bert in All My Sons. Some highlights in his development as a performer include the New York Premier of Orange Star Dinner Show as well as Michael in Billy Elliot the Musical; a role that he played three times (North Carolina Theatre, Music Theatre Wichita, Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma) and for which he received a Broadway World Award-Best Supporting Actor.
Evan holds his BFA in Musical Theatre from The University of Oklahoma. A few of his favorite performances from his time at OU are She Loves Me (Arpad), Spring Awakening (Otto), Songs for a New World (Man 2), Grand Hotel (Rohna), and Cabaret (Swing). Evan is also an advanced tap dancer and spends much of his free time tapping. During his time at OU he released his first Original Tap Music Video that he choreographed and produced with students in the Gaylord College of Journalism.
Outside of school, Evan has performed at several regional theatres across the country. Highlights include Mush in Casa Mañana's production of Newsies, Harry the Horse in The Sharon Playhouse's production of Guys and Dolls, and Eugene in Mountain Repertory’s production of Grease.
Most recently, Evan spent three years on the North American Tour of The Book of Mormon in the Ensemble and understudying Elder Cunningham. He performed for over 1.5 million people in 161 cities.
Evan currently splits time between New York and Toronto and spends much of his free time traveling and rock climbing.
